Lockers and padlocks

Once your daughter has been allocated a locker, she will need to secure it with a padlock.

In our experience, pupils find key padlocks both easier to use and easier to manage, particularly where they purchase locks with 2 or 3 keys and can arrange for the spares to be held at home or at school with their tutor.

Combination locks are still suitable to use but can sometimes become difficult to operate if a code is forgotten or if there is an unhelpful temptation to share codes with friends!

Pupils must take responsibility for their belongings and lockers must be secured with a padlock at all times.

We recommend a 40mm padlock.
